Library FAQs

  1. Do I have to book a space to study in the library?
  2. Not during the regular semester. However, you are welcome to book study rooms for group study. For more information, click on the Book a Study Space link on the library website.

During exams, the Library is very busy and is limited to law students only. To ensure that law students have sufficient access to study space, you must book a seat in the library starting the last week of classes. Use the same Book a Study Space link to book an Individual Study Seat during exam-time.

  3. If I have a remote job interview, can I book a space in the library?
  4. Fordham Law students, with a remote job interview, can book a space in the library in advance. Reservations may be made from one week up to 72 hours before the interview date. Interview space can be booked for up to one and a half hours.

To book a space for your interview, fill out this form. Completing the form does not guarantee your reservation, as we must check availability. You will receive an email from the library with the room number once your reservation is accepted and booked. If you have any questions, please contact the Maloney Library Circulation Department at 212-636-7820.

Please note that if your interview time is closer than 72 hours, please use the Book A Study Space link on the Library website to book your space.
